Zoe Burgess Foreman - Ep#56

Zoe Burgess Foreman - Ep#56

January 28, 2022

Our first episode of 2022 is with multi-talented creator Zoe Burgess Foreman. Zoe is a researcher, horror enthusiast, author, artist, podcaster and on top of all of that is a teaching assistant for a special needs school.

We talk to them about how they find time to go to the toilet, ADHD, what Cthulhu would be like if he was a hot boi, the struggles that exist around adult manga in acquiring it, publishing it and people judging you for it.

We go off on many a tangent and eventually get round to creating two rival training gyms between aliens and cowboys with some buff cacti drawings from us.

Jason Chester - Ep#49

September 3, 2021

Welcome to our only September episode as we are taking the rest of the month off to try and book some awesome people to finish the year off in style with any luck.

In this episode, we chat with Jason Chester, a creative artist who mostly does art for fun and not for money! We found Jason via Oxford Doodle Club who you may remember from our chat with Mat Roff.

It's a very tangent heavy episode where both Jason and us trundle down some conversation paths but we do still chat about creativity.

We can't thank Jason enough for his time. Remember to check out his work or his gaming podcast The Vault

RC Beiler - Ep#47

August 6, 2021

Greetings superfolk! We bring you a super-human episode of the podcast where we talk to Gamemaster and creator of the Masks and Mayhem podcast RC Beiler.

RC spoke to us at what was for him very early in the morning about why he decided to begin making a real play RPG podcast, how he met his victims/players, the value that playing an RPG with your friends has, the amount of time and effort that goes into the show as well as touch on beating yourself up for "not getting enough done". We understand this...100%.

Lloydie James Lloyd - Ep#36

Lloydie James Lloyd - Ep#36

February 19, 2021

For our second episode for February we had a remote chat with Improvisor, Radio producer and Podcaster Lloydie James Lloyd. Chris has been delving into what Lloydie has been up to with his Improv Chronicle Podcast, not something everyone might enjoy but if you are interested in Improv then we would certainly recommend it for a very consumable deep dive into some very interesting topics.

Lloydie was slightly reserved about the drawing section of our show but I do feel that he enjoyed creating a planet that was being run by two mobsters who have a certain penchant for musicals. We persuaded him to draw with us and love his depiction of "Lil Larry", check out the drawings via our social media.
